After seeing Jamie for the first time in four years (that's, like, ten minutes in robot time, but whatever), I thought that I would have lots of exciting new things to write on this blog. Imagine my surprise to find that Jamie is exactly the same....i.e. boring.
Sigh. I guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up.

As a Grinnellian and a Columbia grad student who stumbled across this page, I find this fascinating . . . kind of.

having had my weekly fill of small children, and without any further sabermetric analysis to perform, i found myself especially bored this afternoon. after adequate research into the matter, i did what humans seem to believe is the optimal approach to such a dilemma: i googled myself.
i would have you know that this monstrosity of a blog remains the fifth most relevant result of such a search, as determined by the google ur-algorithm (all glory unto it). as such, i shall blame on you all further professional misfortune that i might undergo for the remainder of my existence.
and probably sue you.
